And indeed you must be a little mad to venture into Camden Town on a Saturday. Loud and crowded doesn’t come close to describing the market street. Tattoo parlours, bold and ostentatious store fronts decorated with giant scorpions and gothic angels dominate the view; vendors, street performers, and buskers are busying themselves to provide more allure to the abundance of tourists.
